Hotel Ameera near Infopark, Kakkanad

So this is my first blog post under Oru Chaya Randu Kadi.

Ameera is a small hotel near Infopark enroute to Edachira from Infopark. It’s on the left side of the road at a lower level from the road and there is every chance that you will miss the place. But if it’s between 3 and 6 PM, nah, you will not miss it because you will immediately notice the young and the so called 'IT crowd' there. It’s one of the favorite places for the IT guys and gals from the infopark now a days.

The randu kadi concept will never work here for the evening tea time. The snacks like vada, bonda, bajji, banana fry etc are so fresh and mouth lingering that we cannot stop with Randu, we will have to call the supplier once again.

Normally in hotels the supplier comes to us and we order them to bring what we need. But here the supplier comes to us with a vessel full of snacks like vada, bonda, bajji, banana fry and parippuvada and we can take whatever we need into a small plate provided by them.
If you are too concerned about your health then this is not the place because most of the snacks are fried in oil.

The highlight of this small hotel is that they serve the snacks fresh off the pan. In fact the top header picture of the snacks of this blog is taken from here when we went for a tea break in the afternoon. Pricing is decent. Hygiene is acceptable.
